Fishing Report: As of November, water temps are ranging in the 50's. Fly Fishing has started to greatly improve with lower day time temps and more rain. Early morning and late evenings are still the time to be out. Trout are still rising to BWO's, black, brown, orange and yellow caddis, especially up in the headwaters. Nymphs are still producing alot of the fish being caught. Prince, PT's, and HE's are doing well fishing them deep and using additional weight if necessary. Or tie these nymphs about 6" to 18" off of a dry fly to get the chance for some top water action while using the dry also as an indicator....Tight Lines.
Mountaintown Creek: This is our trophy managed stream. Here is where some of our clients come to test their wits against some of the biggest hardest fighting trout around. We offer guided half and full day trips. If you are after some large trout, this is the place! These trout run from 14 inches up to some monsters over 28 inches.
